Jungle park – a high rope center for children, youth and adults which is located in the beautiful natural environment alongside the Svratka river. Children’s traffic playground Riviéra – a brand new, spacious and modern traffic playground in the immediate vicinity of the outdoor swimming pool Riviéra, opened October 2015. www.mpb.cz/dopravni-hriste-riviera

Cycling lane – cyclists can get on their bikes and ride straight to the Brno ZOO or around the amusement park Olympia http://www.olympia-centrum.cz/en all the way to Vienna.

The Tugendhat villa – the world-famous villa of the Tugendhat family from 1929–1930, designed by the architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. A pioneering example of modern architecture in the Czech republic, it is on the UNESCO heritage list. The Špilberk Castle – its origins go as far as the 13th century, to the rule of the king Premysl Otakar II. Expositions change but cover historical and cultural events. Various live performance occur regularly. www.spilberk.cz/en/

Veveří Castle- One of the most extensive Moravian castle complexes seated on a rock hill over the Svratka river and the Veverka brook. Archeologists say it was first built at the turn of the 12th century. Travel to the castle can be by car, public transportation, or by boat from the Brno dam. www.veveri.cz/en/
